Extended student membership in NIL
The NIL General Assembly 2019 approved a change in our statues that opens up for an extended student membership for up to 3,5 years given certain preconditions.
The decision made on the NIL general assembly April 6th 2019:
NIL introduces extended student membership for up to 3,5 years with effect from January 1st 2020 for interior architects and furniture designers with a completed bachelor degree:
1) For the period of time from finished BA until enough work experience have been acquired to apply for NIL membership on special conditions with a portfolio (1,5 years of work experience per lacking year of study).
2) When a brake is taken during or in between BA and MA studies to gain work experience.
As an extended student member you CANNOT make use of the title MNIL. This title is solely reserved for ordinary members of NIL.
As an extended student member you can be elected to participate in the local group boards and committees just as ordinary members.
